As the weather begins to warm up it is so easy to reach into your fridge for anything cold. This summer arm yourself with refreshing guilt free drinks that will chase that thirst away and cool you right down in the heat of the day.
Strawberry Lemon-Aid
1 cup fresh strawberries
3 lemons
Agave
Remove rind from the lemons, cut them up into chunks, wash strawberries and cut in half, pass both through a juicer. Pour juice into a large pitcher, sweeten to taste, then fill pitcher with water.
Stir and Refrigerate until ready to enjoy!
Makes 10 or more servings.
Need more? add more lemon juice and more strawberries and sweeten to taste!
The Honey in the Dew
1 cup honeydew melon roughly cubed
1 cup spinach tightly packed
3 mint leaves
1 cup filtered water
4 or more ice cubes
Add all ingredients in a high speed blender and give it a whirl till well blended.
Makes 1 serving
